Arts & Crafts

Crafts With Sally are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 9:30 am. From Ribbon Embroidery to Ribbon Jewelry classes, Sally offers her expertise to help us make beautiful crafts. If you plan to attend, please signup at the main office.

Beat to the Music

Thursdays at 11:00 a.m. Led by a volunteer, A one hour exercise class that offers a low paced workout with various types of music.  This class offers exercise while keeping the beat to music while sitting.  It also involves walking and stretching for upper body flexibility between chair and sitting routines.  Chairs will be available for those not wishing to join in on walking.  Stretching can be done while sitting. 

Chair Aerobics

Wednesdays at 12:30 pm.  Have fun while you tone muscles, improve flexibility and burn calories.  This class is led by a volunteer using Jodi Stolove's Chair Dancing Through the Decades DVD.  This is a free program.


Music & Motion

Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:00 - 10:00 am. $1.00 per class. Instructor: Debra Johnson (DJ).

MATC Classes

A wide range of classes are offered on a semester basis; may include computer training, watercolor painting, Spanish, guitar lessons, cooking lessons, quilting, Rosemaling, wood refinishing, yoga, Pilates, ballroom dancing, ceramics, etc. Check the Courier for the latest classes or call 608-258-2301 for information; to register call 608-246-6210. Qi Gong

Qi Gong is back! Join Jo Chern , MA, ACE-CPT Owner of Small Change Personal Training and Director, The QiGong Center of South Central Wisconsin on Mondays at 11:00 a.m. Jo is a Certified Medical Exercise Specialist Personal Trainer/Health Coach.  QiGong is a holistic system of coordinated body posture and movement, breathing, and meditation.

 

Colonial Club Senior Activty Center's exercise classes are designed to permit participants to exercise within their physical limits as determined by their personal physician. Exercise classes are recreation only and not intended to substitute for an exercise program by a licensed professional. Participants should seek advice from their physician before beginning any exercise program.
